Plans

Standard

I had planned to write you a nice long post today, full of all the lovely things I’d made today.

But…

I ended up in school. I did manage to make another cute pair of slippers this morning, but wrapped them up for the sender before I took a photo (they’re very similar to this pair, but with cream flowers.

I was planning to make a couple of peg bags this afternoon, but got an emergency call at 12 asking if I could teach this afternoon. It takes at least 25 mins to drive there (more if I get stuck behind slow traffic, which seems to always happen when I’m in a rush) and the afternoon starts at 12.45.

So after eating lunch in the car on the way I arrived at school, had a brief chat about what I was to teach, then spent the afternoon talking about the spread of disease in Tudor times – lovely!

Then what with shopping, sorting washing, planning lessons for tomorrow, making dinner and going to Bible study my time has gone. I’m hoping that I’ll have some creative time tomorrow afternoon, but let’s just wait and see.

In the meantime, it’s very nearly my 30th birthday – a fact that I’ve actually managed to forget a lot of the time this week! Perhaps I’m in denial. Anyway, on Saturday I’ll be announcing the winner of my giveaway, so pop on over and comment if you haven’t already!

  1. With your forward planning, tomorrow should be a lot easier and less ‘last minute’ πŸ™‚
I’m sure you know that turning 30 doesn’t actually hurt πŸ˜‰ In fact in Tudor times it was probably a rarity if one of their awful diseases hadn’t got you by now, and you’d be revered as a wise sage Lol πŸ˜€

  2. Those little shoes are so sweet. Really need some baby girls in the family (so far there are only boys) then I could have a go at some.
