In January I…
…made 2 new garlands for my bookcase.
…enjoyed gates and trees in the snow.
…had a wonderful trip to a craft fair, resulting in a whole load of new goodies.
…expanded my crochet skills by experimenting with doilies (read about them here and here).
…celebrated my one year blogiversary with a giveaway (which finally arrived with Cheryl this week!)
It’s been a good start to the year!
It snowed – hurrah! I love how pretty snow makes everything. Mum and I decided to go for a little walk and this is what we saw…
For some reason I especially love snowy gates. Here were some I saw this morning…
And here are some lovely snowy trees…
And there’s nothing better than coming back in out of the cold and snuggling up under a fluffy blanket with a cup of hot chai tea. Bliss!
It was an exciting moment when I looked out the window this morning and realised it’d been snowing!
There wasn’t a lot, but it was enough to get me thinking of Christmas 🙂 So Exciting!!
I was so excited to see the snow when I woke up this morning! Sadly it hasn’t settled, but it got me looking at my snow pictures from last year. I know this isn’t anything I’ve made, but just had to share the Godly beauty – enjoy!
